What it is

The DT-1 RACING EUROPE AIR CAGE CARBON KTM 16-, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This carbon fibre cage replaces the standard plastic unit in the KTM airbox. The rigid construction prevents the filter from collapsing under high vacuum or heavy saturation. It improves throttle response by maintaining a consistent internal volume and smoothing airflow into the intake. This is a critical upgrade for racers seeking maximum performance and reliability. It fits KTM models from 2016 onwards. Use this cage with a standard foam filter to ensure a perfect seal against the airbox boot.
