This foam element is designed for maximum dirt-holding capacity without restricting airflow. It sits on the filter cage and provides two stages of filtration to protect your engine. The bonded layers are resistant to the solvents used in cleaning. Replace the unit if the sealing flange becomes compressed or damaged. Fitment is specific to your intake system. Apply a bead of grease to the base to ensure a total seal against the airbox boot. Clean air is the lifeblood of your engine.
