These high-friction units sit within the caliper to provide consistent stopping power and heat resistance. They are a direct replacement for worn OEM parts. Replace when the friction material wears thin to maintain hydraulic pressure and bite. These are model-specific for your bike. Clean the caliper thoroughly and grease the sliding pins during the rebuild. Bedding these in requires a few heat cycles to achieve maximum performance. They perform well in wet or dry conditions.
