EBC rear water grooved series organic brake shoe to fit Honda XL250R (1982); Honda XL250S (1982); Honda XL400R (1982); Honda XL500R (1982); Honda XL500S (1980); Honda XL600LM (1985, 1987); Honda XL600R (1983–1987); Honda XL600RM (1986); Honda XL600V (1987–1990); Honda XR500R (1981).

These water-grooved shoes are built for the wet and muddy conditions typical of UK enduro and trail riding. The angled channels in the friction material clear water, grit, and dust from the contact surface. This prevents the loss of braking power often felt with plain shoes in the mid-winter muck. They sit inside your drum hub and offer improved bite when the terrain gets technical. Monitor the groove depth during regular service intervals. Replace them when the friction material reaches the wear limit to avoid damaging the internal hub surface.
