This full rebuild kit refreshes your entire clutch stack. It includes cork-based friction plates, steel separator plates, and heavy-duty springs. Heat and friction eventually glaze the plates or fatigue the springs, leading to slip under load. Replacing the full set ensures consistent lever feel and power delivery. Soak the friction plates in fresh gearbox oil for at least four hours before installation. This prevents premature burning on the first start. Check your clutch basket for notches while the stack is out. Smooth engagement depends on clean plate movement.
