These cork-based friction plates provide a predictable, linear engagement for standard trail and MX use. They are a direct replacement for your worn OEM pack. Clutch slip usually manifests under heavy load in higher gears or when the engine is hot. Replacing the friction plates restores the bite and prevents power loss through the transmission. Clean the steel plates thoroughly before reassembly. If your lever has become soft or the bike creeps in gear, check your spring free-length against the workshop manual. Always use fresh oil after a clutch rebuild.
