These heavy-duty coil springs provide increased clamping pressure on the clutch stack. They sit over the pressure plate bolts and prevent slip when the engine is under high load. OEM springs often fatigue and lose their free length over a season of racing. These steel replacements are typically fifteen percent stiffer than stock units. This extra tension ensures positive engagement and extends the life of your friction plates. Check your workshop manual for the correct torque settings on the spring bolts.
