What it is

The GALFER BRAKE PAD SINTERED SCOOTER, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

These sintered pads are built for the high-frequency braking demands of urban riding. The sintered metal compound offers superior heat resistance and immediate response compared to organic pads. They sit in the caliper and provide reliable stopping power in both wet and dry UK weather. Replace these when the friction material is visibly thin or if you experience brake fade. Always check your disc for warping or excessive wear when changing pads. Clean the caliper pins and apply a small amount of high-temperature grease to the back of the pads to prevent squeal.
