What it is

The HOT RODS CRANKSHAFT ASSEMBLY, bottom end. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This assembly sits in the lower engine cases and drives the piston through its stroke. It is a critical component for small-bore race bikes that spend most of their life at high RPM. Replace this when the big-end bearing develops lateral or vertical play. It replaces OEM parts 47030018000 and 47030018100. A fresh assembly restores the factory tolerances required for peak power. Ensure your crankcase seals are pressed in straight to avoid air leaks. Use a torque wrench for all case bolts to prevent distorting the new assembly.
