EngineBottom End
The bottom end carries the crankshaft, mains, and conrod. Rebuild on the hour interval or sooner if you feel play at the crank. A spent big-end takes the cylinder and head with it, so this is not the place to cut corners. Check stroke and pin diameter against your engine spec. Fit new seals and bearings every time the cases come apart — crankcase pressure depends on it. Filter by make and model to pull the right parts.
