Use this when the original guide hole in the head has become slightly enlarged or worn during removal. It ensures a tight interference fit to prevent the guide from moving or leaking oil. Proper installation requires heating the head and chilling the guide. Reaming the inner diameter after installation is necessary to achieve the correct stem-to-guide clearance for your CRF450R.
