Kibblewhite build valvetrain first, so this piston system is cut with valve clearance in mind. It drops into the YZ450F or WR450F as a full replacement: piston, rings and pin, all lighter than stock to take load off the rod at high rpm. Running aftermarket cams? Check valve-to-piston clearance on assembly regardless. Fit a fresh top-end gasket set while you're in there. A sensible swap at high hours, before the stock piston makes the decision for you.
