This exhaust valve is a direct replacement for OEM part 14721-MEB-670. It operates in the harshest environment of the top-end, facing extreme heat and carbon buildup. The Black Diamond coating provides a hard surface that resists stem wear and guide galling. If your bike is losing power or the valve clearances are tightening rapidly, the original valves are likely failing. These forged units maintain their shape under thermal stress.
