This titanium exhaust valve is a critical component in your YZ250F top-end. It manages the exit of spent gases under extreme heat. Over time, the constant thermal cycling and high-RPM operation cause the titanium to fatigue. Inspect the valve face for signs of cupping or recession into the seat. Replacing these during a scheduled top-end refresh prevents catastrophic engine failure. This is a standard size component designed for the 2019 model year onwards. Always verify your guide clearances and seat contact patch when fitting new valves to ensure a gas-tight seal.
