What it is

The KIBBLEWHITE VALVE SEAL 4.5MM VITON, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

These seals sit atop the guides in your cylinder head. Manufactured from Viton, they offer superior resistance to high temperatures and chemical degradation compared to standard rubber. They prevent oil from leaking down the stem and into the combustion chamber. Hardened or cracked seals lead to blue smoke on start-up. Replace these every time you have the top-end apart for a piston change or valve service. Use a dedicated seal driver for installation to avoid tearing the inner lip on the valve stem grooves.
