Soft-terrain front for 70/100-17 small-wheel 85s — CR 80/85 R, CRF 150 R, the 125 F and DR-Z 125 trail bikes. Widely spaced knobs clear sand and deep loam without packing. Run it on a heavy sand track or a wet winter loam circuit and the StarCross 5 Soft bites where a hard-terrain pattern just skates. Bin it once the knobs start tearing at the base or rounding off. Pull it off hard-pack — blue-groove and dry shale chunk the soft compound in a session. Tight rim lock is non-negotiable; deep soil and a fistful of throttle will spin a loose tyre on the bead.
