What it is

Mitas built this insert for riders who can't afford to limp home on a flat. Standard 0.8/1.0 density runs soft enough for grip on rocks and roots, firm enough to hold its shape through a three-hour enduro. Pair it with an 18-inch rear on your 250F, 350, or 450 enduro bike. Slather the inside of the carcass with mousse lube before fitment; skimp on that and you'll cook the foam inside a lap. Rotate the wheel every few weeks if the bike sits, otherwise the insert takes a set and you'll feel the flat spot on the first start.
