The accelerator pump provides a shot of fuel when you snap the throttle open. It sits on the bottom of the float bowl. The internal diaphragm eventually perishes or tears, leading to a massive bog or hesitation under load. This kit includes the diaphragm, spring, and O-rings to restore that instant throttle response. It is a common failure point on high-hour bikes. Ensure the small passageways in the bowl are clear before fitting. This is a direct replacement for the OEM assembly to maintain correct fuel delivery.
