The Moose Offroad ALLOY RIM LOCK 2.50", rims. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
This 2.50-inch alloy rim lock is sized for wider rear rims found on larger capacity adventure and enduro bikes. It sits inside the wheel assembly to lock the tyre bead in place. This prevents the tyre from creeping around the rim when you are running reduced pressures for off-road grip. The alloy body provides the necessary clamping force without adding excessive unsprung weight. Always check that the lock is seated squarely against the bead before fully inflating your tyre to avoid balance issues or tube pinches.
