What it is
The Moose Offroad ALLOY RIM LOCK 2.50", rims. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Bolt it through the rim slot opposite the valve, sit it square against the bead, then nip the nut down before final inflation. The 2.50" body suits the wider rear rims on bigger adventure and enduro bikes where a 2.15 lock won't span the bead seat properly. Run low pressures for rocks and roots and the tyre wants to walk on the rim — this stops it, saves the valve stem, and keeps your tube alive. Alloy body, so it clamps hard without piling unsprung weight onto the back wheel. Check the nut again after the first ride.
