Rear hub bearings take the brunt of chain torque and landing impacts. These sit between the axle and the hub shell on your CRF. Pressure-wash spray and deep ruts force water past the seals. Result: corrosion, notchiness, lateral play that telegraphs through the rear end on hard cornering. This kit replaces the rear wheel bearings to restore clean rotation. Pull the spacers while the wheel is off and check the sealing faces for grooving. A grooved spacer lets water straight back in and chews fresh bearings inside a few rides. Seat each bearing square against the internal shoulder, fully home, before refitting the spacer.
