This component mounts to the rear of your swingarm to ensure the chain feeds correctly onto the rear sprocket. It prevents derailment during heavy landings or when tracking through deep ruts. Constant friction from the drive chain eventually wears through the internal block. Check the thickness of the wear surface during your routine maintenance. If the outer cage is bent from rock strikes, replace it immediately to avoid chain snap. This part follows OEM mounting points for a direct fit. Ensure you use thread lock on the mounting bolts to prevent vibration loss during a race.
