DrivetrainChain Guides & Sliders
Chain guides and sliders take the hits so your swingarm doesn't. The guide keeps the chain tracking the rear sprocket through ruts and braking bumps; the slider stops the chain sawing into the swingarm on the top run. Inspect them every ride. Replace once the plastic shows deep grooves, cracks, or a chunk missing from a rock strike. Worn guides let the chain wander and derail under load. Check mounting bolts are tight and the rollers spin free.
