This frame-mounted roller keeps the chain on the correct path and prevents it from damaging the bike's subframe or cases. It is a direct replacement for the Honda OEM part number 52175-KSK-000. The roller uses a high-density material to handle the friction of a moving chain. Over time, the chain will wear a groove into the roller, or the internal bearings will fail. Replacing a worn roller reduces drag and prevents the chain from snagging. It is a straightforward fitment that should be part of your regular service interval for optimal performance.
