The link between your lever and the clutch arm takes a hammering on an RM. Heat cycles and trail muck break down the inner wire until the pull turns wooden or a strand parts. This cable cross-references OEM 58210-37F11 and is cut for the RM 125 and RM 250. Thread it along the original line so it doesn't bind at full lock, and keep the outer off the exhaust where it can soften. Set the free play at the perch. Leave it slack enough to disengage clean without dragging the plates.
