What it is

The Moose Offroad FF SPRING SET 43.5MM 4.4, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Moose 4.4 N/mm rate suits riders pushing 80-95kg in kit, or lighter riders running aggressive enduro pace where the stock springs dive through the stroke. Fits 43.5mm closed-cartridge forks on the Gas Gas EC range — 250, 300, two-stroke and four-stroke 350/450. Sold as a pair. You'll need fork oil, a spring compressor and a cartridge holder to fit them. Set sag before you ride: 30-35mm static, 95-105mm rider sag. Get the rate wrong and the bike either packs down in braking bumps or skips off square edges.
