Fork bushings are the wear parts that ride between the stanchion and the outer tube. The Teflon coating breaks down with hours, friction climbs, and the front end starts to feel sticky off the top. Once metal hits metal, your fork seals are next. This kit covers the inner and outer bushings for a full lower-leg rebuild across the 49mm Showa air-fork CRF 450 R and the KYB-equipped CRF 250 R, plus the CRF-L road-legal variants. Clean the tubes, check for stone-chip nicks, and drift the new bushings in with a proper Showa seal driver. Match it to fresh seals, wipers and fork oil at the same service.
