A 3/16-inch bore line in a 3-foot length, running from tank petcock to carburettor inlet. The smaller bore suits standard fuel taps and most carb intakes on 2-stroke and 4-stroke dirt bikes. Pump fuels and ethanol harden and swell old rubber over time, which stresses the plastic T-piece and lets fuel weep at the joints. This stays supple and seals tight under vibration. Cut to length, clip it, route it clear of the cylinder head. Check for cracks and stiffness at every service and swap it before it splits on the trail.
