Modern pump fuels contain ethanol that aggressively degrades internal carburettor components. These gaskets sit between the main sections of the carb body. When they perish, your bike will suffer from erratic idling, hanging revs, or off-bottom bogging. Standard rebuild kits often omit these mid-body seals, making this kit vital for a thorough service. It solves vacuum leaks that are otherwise impossible to tune out. Take care when splitting the carb body as these passages are delicate. Clean all surfaces with a dedicated solvent before reassembly to ensure an airtight seal.
