What it is

The Moose Offroad KTM CLUTCH-SLAVE-CYLINDER GUARD KTM, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This guard protects the clutch slave cylinder from a snapped chain or thrown rocks. It mounts directly over the hydraulic unit on the left side of the engine. A chain derailment can easily crack the slave cylinder or the engine case. This part acts as a sacrificial barrier to prevent a race-ending failure. It is a vital upgrade for enduro and cross-country racing. The CNC-machined design ensures it clears the sprocket and chain. Check bolt tightness regularly as this area is subject to high vibration.
