The Moose Offroad PRO SKID PLATE HDPE BLACK, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

HDPE bashplate for the YZ125 / YZ125X two-stroke and the Fantic XE 125 / XX 125 platform that shares its rolling chassis. Wraps the lower frame rails and shields the cases where the kickstarter-side cover sits low and exposed. Plastic over alloy on a 125 makes sense: less ring at idle, no aluminium fatigue cracks after a season of rock strikes, and it doesn't telegraph noise up through the frame. Fits with the supplied bracketry to the OEM mounts. Pull it after a wet ride to clear packed grit, otherwise it traps moisture against the engine cradle. Standard kit for British woods riders running a small-bore two-stroke.
