What it is

The Moose Offroad REAR SPROCKET / 48 TEETH / 428 PITCH / ORANGE|NATURAL / ALUMINUM|STEEL, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This component mounts directly to your rear hub to transfer power from the chain to the wheel. The hybrid construction uses an inner aluminium carrier to reduce unsprung weight and a steel outer ring for maximum service life on your bike. Replace this part when you notice hooked teeth or excessive side-play in the chain. It is a direct fit for your hub bolt pattern. Always fit a new chain and countershaft sprocket simultaneously to prevent premature wear. Use thread lock on your mounting bolts and torque to OEM specifications to ensure the assembly remains secure.
