What it is

The Moose Offroad REBUILD KIT FUEL TAP KAW, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A petcock rebuild kit covering the Suzuki DR-Z and Kawasaki KLX 125 minis, plus the DR-Z 50 and 70. The fuel tap meters petrol from the tank base to the carb, and its rubber seals harden on ethanol-blend pump fuel. A perished tap weeps at the lever or fails to close fully. Inside the kit are the correct O-rings, gaskets and screws for these small-bore platforms. Drain the tank, pull the old unit and clean the mounting face flat before fitting. A cheap fix for a play bike that's leaked or been sat.
