What it is
The Moose Offroad SLIDE BUSHING SET 37MM, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Slide bushings ride on the inner stanchion and carry the fork's working load. Pull them out at every seal change. Look at the dark Teflon coating: any copper showing through means the bushing is past it and the stanchion is starting to wear unevenly. Run them tired and you get stiction off the top, premature seal weep, and a vague front end on braking bumps. The 37mm size suits smaller-bore conventional forks on RM 85, CR 85, CRF 150 R and a handful of Honda/Kawasaki road bikes from the same era. Fit as a pair with fresh seals and oil.
