What it is

The Moose Offroad Stainless Steel Braided Brake Line, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This braided line is a direct replacement for OEM part 8A00B1162. It sits in the brake circuit between the master cylinder and the caliper. Unlike rubber hoses, this stainless steel line does not expand under pressure. This provides a more consistent bite and better modulation during heavy braking. The outer braid protects the inner hose from trail damage. Use new crush washers on the banjo bolts for a secure fit. Ensure the line is routed correctly to avoid contact with the tyre or suspension. A complete bleed is necessary to ensure optimal performance.
