BrakesBrake Lines
Brake lines carry hydraulic pressure from master cylinder to caliper. Rubber OEM hoses swell under load and turn lever feel to mush. Braided lines kill the expansion and give you a hard, predictable bite at the lever. Check your lines after every off. Look for kinks, weeps, frayed sheathing, chafe marks where they cross the fork leg or swingarm. Length matters. Run them too short and full travel pulls the banjo. Too long and they snag. Fresh copper washers every time you crack a banjo bolt.
