Steering feels like the bars are fighting you back, the front end wanders on rocky climbs, and lock-to-lock has that gritty crunch you can feel through the grips. That's your stem bearings on the way out. Pull the top yoke, drop the lower race out of the frame, and pack the new ones with proper waterproof grease before they go in. On a Sherco enduro you'll be replacing these more often than the Japanese stuff. River crossings and pressure-washer abuse kill bottom races fast. RM 125 and RM 250 owners, same job, hour or so on the bench.
