What it is

The Moose Offroad THROTTLE CABLES, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A throttle cable for the RM 125 and RM 250, cross-referencing Suzuki numbers 58300-27C31, 58300-27C40 and 58300-36E00. After a few seasons the original inner picks up grit and frays near the head tube, and you feel it as a heavy pull and a slow return. This drops straight into the OEM routing with no modification. Set the free play at the perch adjuster so the slide closes fully at full steering lock, and lube the inner before you fit it. Good throttle feel on a two-stroke is half the battle into a rutted corner.
