Pressure washing flushes the factory lube out of the inner wire, and from there grit and corrosion turn a light pull into a dead arm by moto two. A fresh cable brings back the snap you need off the gate and through quick shifts. Set the slack at the lever to allow for heat growth, and keep the routing clean of tight bends so the wire slides free. Inspect the barrel ends at every service.
