Black vinyl hot-start cable for Kawasaki KX 250/450 F and KLX 450 R, also covering the Suzuki RM-Z 250, replacing OEM 54017-0009 and 54017-0033. It works the carb plunger to lean the mix for a warm restart. Stiff cables are the usual culprit on these four-strokes, brought on by grit or heat, and a sticking one leaves the bike lean with a pop on the overrun. Route it in smooth arcs to keep the lever feel light. A clean swap for a tired or heat-damaged factory cable.
