What it is

The MOTION PRO CABLE HOT START, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Runs from the bar lever to the carb on Honda CRF and Kawasaki KX-F four-strokes, opening the hot-start circuit to lean the mixture for a warm restart. Cross-references a stack of Honda OEM numbers including 17950-KRN-000 and 17950-MEN-850. When the inner wire dries out or grit packs the housing, the plunger sticks and the bike idles rough or refuses to fire after a stall. Lube the inner before fitting and leave a touch of free play so the plunger seats fully when you let the lever go. Light action restored, mid-moto restarts sorted.
