What it is

A push-pull set for four-strokes where a positive close is part of the design. The pull opens the butterfly, the push shuts it if the return spring fades. These replace Kawasaki OEM 54012-0119 and K5401-20119 and fit the KX250F alongside the RM-Z 250 and 450. A black vinyl outer keeps weather out of the housing. Dry or stretched cables give a hanging idle and a sticking throttle, neither of which you want on a 450. Lube the inner wires, set the play out at the housing, and the grip answers the moment you move it.
