This clutch cable provides the mechanical link between your lever and the engine actuator. It is a direct replacement for several Kawasaki and Suzuki OEM part numbers, including 54011-0037 and K5401-20037. Heat and constant cycling eventually fatigue the inner wire, causing it to stretch or fray. Replace the cable to regain a crisp bite point and reduce hand pump. Ensure the cable follows the factory routing to avoid melting on the cylinder head. Check for proper free play at the lever to prevent clutch slip or premature wear on the plates.
