What it is

This is the brake-side lever, cut to the Yamaha original so the master cylinder or cable end seats without slop and the reach stays where you expect it. Fitment runs across the air-cooled DT, TT and XT family, including the DT 125, XT 250 and XT 500. On these older bikes a tidy front-brake lever is hard to source, so it's a sensible part to keep on the shelf. Grease the pivot, set the bolt so the lever swings freely, and you're back to full control at the bar.
