The DT 175 is an air-cooled trail bike. Old, simple, honest. Watch the top end. Pistons and rings wear, and a tired barrel will nip up on you mid-climb. Keep the carb clean and the slide free. Cables stretch and fray, so check throttle and clutch routing. Fork seals weep with age. Shock bushes go vague. Service it and it runs forever.
