This throttle sleeve replaces the original plastic unit inside your throttle housing. It is a vital part of your bike's control system, providing the interface between the grip and the cables. Impact damage from crashes often cracks the end of the sleeve, allowing dirt to enter. A new sleeve ensures smooth, friction-free rotation for better throttle modulation. Slide it onto a clean, dry handlebar. Verify that the cables are seated properly in the bobs and that there is no binding when the bars are turned to full lock.
