This floating rotor allows the outer ring to expand under extreme heat without warping. It sits on the front hub and uses a carrier system to maintain alignment. The flame design clears mud and gas from the pad surface. This is a performance upgrade for racing where heavy braking is constant. Inspect the floaters for excessive play during your routine service. Replace your fixed OEM disc with this unit to improve lever consistency. Always use new mounting hardware and torque to factory specifications for your bike.
