Machined from case-hardened chromoly steel, this 12T sprocket is built for high-torque applications in technical terrain. It sits on the countershaft and provides a shorter gear ratio for better low-end response. Front sprockets wear faster than rear ones due to the smaller circumference and higher rotation speed. Replace this part if you see any hooking to maintain drivetrain efficiency. Ensure the splines are clean and the sprocket is locked down with a fresh tab washer. Check your chain tension after fitting, as the 12T size changes the chain's path over the swingarm slider.
