This front sprocket attaches to the gearbox output shaft to drive the 520 chain. The 13-tooth configuration is ideal for tightening your gear ratios on technical enduro loops. Steel construction ensures longevity against the high friction of the drive train. Inspect this part whenever you adjust your chain tension. If the teeth are thinning, it is time for a replacement. Clean the countershaft thoroughly before fitting to ensure the sprocket seats fully against the spacer. Proper alignment here prevents uneven wear on your rear sprocket and chain.
