This 14T sprocket mounts to the gearbox output shaft to provide a taller gear ratio, ideal for faster flowing tracks or desert-style racing. The hardened steel construction ensures it can handle the power of modern four-stroke or high-revving two-stroke engines. Monitor the tooth profile for hooking, which indicates the part has reached the end of its service life. Always replace the front sprocket when fitting a new chain to ensure the pitch matches perfectly. Torque the countershaft nut to the manufacturer's specification and use a fresh locking tab to prevent it from backing off.
