This front sprocket sits on the gearbox countershaft to drive your chain. Case-hardened steel construction ensures it handles the high torque loads at the engine output. A 14-tooth count provides a balanced ratio for most MX and enduro applications. Front sprockets wear faster than rear ones due to the smaller radius and higher revolutions. Check the splines and teeth during every oil change. Ensure the circlip or locking washer is seated correctly during installation. A worn front sprocket causes premature chain stretch and noise.
